Short short – Road to Rebellion Twist

The Ink Slingers Guild (ISG) had some round-robin writing fun! We each wrote a sentence or two and then passed the paper to the next person who added to it and passed it along to the next person and on down the line. We hope you are as entertained as we!

When I chose the strawberry gum, I did not expect the flavor that burst over my tongue.

For hours, my breath smelled of honeyed ham, and I was spitting out pieces of bone.

Of course, this had nothing to do with the gun – which tasted of pineapple – it was simply a Tuesday.

Tuesday, is of course human sacrifice day ever since the new overlords arrived and the taste was always hard to lose. Pig. Long pig.

One of these days, I would slip some bacon into their meal – no entity alive could resist the joy that is bacon. It was the first step on the long road to rebellion.
